About this course
Data is one of today’s most valuable business assets, but its true value lies in the ability to transform it into actionable insights. Thanks to its powerful ecosystem, flexibility, and widespread adoption across industries, Python has become the leading programming language for data analysis and visualization. This course equips participants with practical skills to analyze, visualize, and communicate data using industry-standard Python libraries, enabling them to support evidence-based decision-making and create value for their organizations.
While Foundations of Data Analysis & Visualization with Python can be taken as a standalone course, it also serves as the foundation of EPFL’s learning pathway in applied data analytics. It is the first of four Microcredentials leading to the Certificate of Open Studies (COS) in Applied Data Analytics and Visualization, providing a flexible pathway towards an EPFL credential in applied data analytics.
