About this course

Connections of creativity with entrepreneurship and innovation. Creativity and individual. Creativity in the context of enterprise. Barriers to creativity and innovation. Managing creativity and innovation in enterprises. Developing innovation capabilities in enterprises. Different types of innovation (product, service, process, etc.). Different nature of innovation depending on the economic sector. State innovation policy and support measures. Intellectual property – patents, trademarks. Social responsibility, ethics and values in entrepreneurial innovation.

Learning outcomes

The student:

  1. Knows main principles of entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.
  2. Analyses capabilities of creativity and innovation, and designs context-specific solutions for developing enterprises.

Examination

Final assessment can consist of one test/assignment or several smaller assignments completed during the whole course. After declaring a course the student can re-sit the exam/assessment once.
