About this course
The course deals with fundamental results in computer vision and pattern recognition. It targets the detailed study of principles which substantially influence the development in the field. The course is performed in the form of a reading group. Each time, a person in charge presents a paper and the reading group participants join in with questions, comments and discussion about the paper. The Reading group meetings are online and scheduled either on Tuesdays, or on Thursdays, from 11am (lasting 60-90 mins).
Learning outcomes
Each student is expected to present one paper (70% of the grade) and actively participate (30% of the grade) in reading groups of other presenters. See more information in https://cmp.felk.cvut.cz/~toliageo/rg/course.html
Course requirements
This course is primarily designed for PhD candidates. MSc students with strong research interests and preferably relevant research experience are also welcome to apply. Interested MSc students should contact the instructors in advance.
