Advanced design approaches for selected types of foundation pits and footings, design based on soil - structure interaction.
Learning outcomes
Understanding of design methods for shallow footings, piles, retaining structures, foundation pits, sheet pile walls, anchors and soil improvement, principles of monitoring in foundation engineering.
