Learning outcomes
Student will:
- know main industrial production technologies of wooden houses
- know the principles of design and construction of building perimeter support structures and load bearing structures
- be aware of BIM
- be able to explain the physical principles of building physics (heat, moisture, sound) of building perimeter support structures and influence to the energy efficiency
- know wood construction types and calculation principles of supporting structures
- material types and technical solutions used in wall construction and production technologies
- know the methods how to achieve the fire safety of woodbuildings
- apply theoretical knowledge and analytical skills in solving the practical tasks
