Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials (CCNA2)

This course describes the architecture, components, and operations of routers switches and access points in a small network. Students learn how to configure routers, switches and access points for basic functionality. By the end of this course, students will be able to configure and troubleshoot routers, switches and access points and to resolve common issues related to link aggregation, link redundancy, gateway redundancy, switch security, DHCP services, virtual LANs and inter-VLAN routing in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. This is the second preparation course for the CCNA Certification Exam (200-301).

By completing the course you will be able to: configure devices by using security best practices, implement VLANs and trunking in a switched network, troubleshoot EtherChannel on switched links, implement DHCPv4 to operate across multiple LANs, explain the operation of dynamic address allocation in IPv6 networks, explain how vulnerabilities compromise LAN security, configure switch security to mitigate LAN attacks, implement a WLAN using a wireless router and WLC, configure IPv4 and IPv6 floating static routes
