Enhance your expertise in safety and risk management with a focus on IT-related risks through our distinguished certificate program in IT-Security & Privacy Management. This intensive five-day course, a standalone option within the Executive MBA in Business & IT, equips experienced professionals with theoretical foundations and practical insights. Delivered by professors from the TUM and from the Institute of Information Management (HSG), the curriculum seamlessly integrates theory, group collaboration, and personal development components. This module will support you in understanding the growing importance of IT security while learning how to skillfully apply compliant IT security systems in your business domain. After completing the course you will equip yourself to comprehend the escalating significance of IT security, gain practical skills to implement compliant IT security systems, enhancing your ability to advise management on linking IT risk with organization-wide risk frameworks.

Participation is limited to 40 people, registration closes after the participation number is achieved. To receive the certificate you will have to pass the assignment of the week. The exam can consist of a group presentation during the week or a written assignment after the module.

Graded

Participants must hold a Master’s entry qualification (i.e. Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Magister or “Staatsexamen”) as well as at least three years of full time professional work experience. Initial leadership experience provides participants with further advantages.
